Dave Hill is a comedian, writer, actor, and musician from Cleveland, now based in New York City. He’s appeared on shows like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Inside Amy Schumer, The Jim Gaffigan Show, and the U.S. version of Would I Lie To You. Dave starred in his own series, The King of Miami, and has written for The New York Times, GQ, and The Paris Review.

As a musician, Dave plays guitar and sings in Valley Lodge, whose song “Go” is the theme for HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. He also fronts the death metal band Painted Doll and is founder of black metal band Witch Taint.

Dave has toured internationally, including as the support act for Tenacious D on their Spicy Meatball Tour, and has performed at festivals like Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival, SXSW, and Bonnaroo. He has a huge social media presence, connecting with fans worldwide.

He hosts The Dave Hill Goodtime Hour podcast and regularly contributes to This American Life and Broken Record.
